Program Description

As a children’s educator with over 40 years of experience and author of six published books, Barbara Garro will provide the unique opportunity for students to develop their creative writing skills via comment and critique of one of her unpublished children’s storybooks. Students will engage with constructive feedback and develop their communication skills with an interactive format.

Associated Acts/Performances

Using Personality Types from my Character Architectural Technology System (4 separate programs with this theme,) students explore different personalities and come to learn which one they could be and also learn which ones others in their life may be. Writing the Limerick encourages students to write as a class and separately. Healthy Eating teaches students the difference between eating real food and processed junk with no nourishment. Understanding Dreams allows students to have a context into which to analyze their dreams.
