Native New York explores the culture of the Haudenosaunee people of upstate New York through hands-on activities, toys & games, garden tours and art projects.
We work with you to create an entertaining, all improvised show that meets your instructional agenda. Showcasing the main tenets of improv (be spontaneous, celebrate positive risk taking, accept and build with what exists, make your partner look good) our shows support your programs on anti-bullying, diversity and inclusion, or enhancing creativity. We also address core subjects using NYS standards as guidelines.

FUNNY SONGS AND STORIES FROM THE FARM!
Farmer Tom’s presentation is both entertaining and educational taking the listener on a fascinating journey to his child hood on the farm with his program: “Life on the Farm” with Farmer Tom Walsh. Within his unique and engaging program, involving Action and Silly Songs, Storytelling, Movement, Laughter, Learning, Sing-a-long, Props, Audience Participation and Hand Clapping, Farmer Tom Walsh educates by bringing a understanding of farm culture, safety, farm animals, value of fresh vegetables and cooperation through music and songs from down on the farm. We really get moving!

Elementary school program objectives: Cooperation with and respect for others.
-The students will learn participation with others through music and stories by group cooperation, sharing, and working together.
-The students will develop motor skills, movement and rhythm within a group setting.
-The students will acquire a better understanding of social interaction, rules and following instructions together.
-The students will, through listening and comprehension of the materials, develop language, counting, written, and orals skill important for early development.
-The Student will gain knowledge of farming, farm culture, history, the first green industry, recycling, nutritional value of fresh vegetables and the fun of physical activities through music and songs.

Scot uses mime, music & participation to cover: bullying education, conflict resolution, tolerance, overcoming obstacles,problem solving, responsibility and how to engage in positive & productive activities.
Nonverbal communication: Mime,dance, music character,theater.Themes include reading and perseverance for success and overcoming obstacles in life.
