Creative musical theatre performances based on classic literature
Annie & the Hedonists is an acoustic quartet comprised of Annie Rosen (lead vocalist), Jonny Rosen (guitar and vocals), Peter Davis (piano, clarinet, tenor guitar, and vocals), and Don Young (bass and vocals). The band does a variety of styles including vintage jazz and blues, folk, gospel, country, protest songs, and acoustic Americana. The band offers a variety of programs for school children including: 1) Roots of Blues and Jazz, 2) Hootenanny Sing-a-Long, 3) Songs of Social Justice, 4) Residency.
I will give a 20 minute performance and then give a master class with the flute students. We will go over flute tips for better sound and technique.
Our concert program “Place” explores geographies, languages and musical /cultural traditions from all over the globe, featuring original and traditional music from our 5 pieced ensemble. West African dancing can also be added to the performance.
Having toured professionally for over 24 years, including three performances at The White House, Jason and Matthew Tardy are living proof that education, hard work, and dedication are a direct path to a successful future.

Northeastern Native American cultures, histories and traditions through my writing and storytelling or workshop programs in which students write their own poems and stories and/or do their own storytelling. Also, themes of respect for one’s self and others, conflict resolution, and character development are built into all of my presentations.
