Daryl’s takes his audience on a journey through the creative and writing processes by cleverly blending educational information with live performance, storytelling, music, reader’s theatre, readings and many interactive activities.
“A Writer’s Journey” is an exciting and highly interactive creative arts assembly that focuses on reading and writing! Each program includes writing information and entertainment (live performance, storytelling, music, reader’s theatre, readings and many interactive activities), that is age appropriate for those attending. To make your assembly age appropriate Daryl alters the content of each show based on the grades attending. Daryl Cobb will teach the students about the writing process, touching on important writing skills such as the use of small moments, developing ideas, editing, revising, the importance of words, conflict, detailing, etc.) Daryl is a master storyteller and a highly skilled and imaginative presenter. He will get your students excited
about the day and actively involved in the process. For the younger grades Daryl offers “Music & Storytime”.

“Music & Storytime” for grades K-2, this is a 45-50 minute long music and story presentation that will have the children singing, clapping and having the
best time ever. For all school programs, I also include my interactive readers’ theater and some fun educational moments, like the importance of words
