Program Description

Most of my books are extensions of nursery rhymes and traditional children’s songs, and support the Common Core standards. My presentation takes a look into picture book making-from conception of idea to production of book. I describe the creative process, showing original rough sketches, final paintings and press sheets. The bulk of the program is interactive, with singing, reading, Q+A and a drawing demonstration, incorporating the children’s ideas and details.
