Sculptural vessels through fiber coiling
Program Description
Students will create sculptural vessels by manipulation of fibers into coils using ancient basketry methods of coiling.
Students will learn how to wrap yarns, fabrics and recycled plastic bags around a variety of different cores to create sculptures. Both new and recycled objects can be incorporated into designs.
