Program Description

World of Wonder
World of Wonder is a program designed for the whole family, theatre that charms audiences of all ages with the actor’s imagination, the mime’s skill, and the conjuror’s craft. It is an international journey into the imagination.
Beginning with the amazing and lost art of shadowgraphs or hand shadows, Leland conjures up an amazing menagerie of silhouettes using only his hands. These shadows speak an international language, and Leland has performed them around the world, in some of the biggest arenas, theaters, and circuses in Russia, China, Canada, Japan, Turkey, and the United States.
Discover classical magic and amazing origami as paper comes to life in a comic and touching homage to this beautiful Japanese art.
The comical and entertaining character Nasrudding, famous from Turkey to Afghanistan is brought to life in an original story about an invisible chicken.
There is more, but it must be seen to be believed. Family audiences have expressed their love for World of Wonder because it is live theater, storytelling, magic, and edutainment that embraces the whole world.
